French Camp McKinley Fire District's
Engine 11-1 is our primary apparatus for emergency responses. It is a 2010 Hi-Tech/Spartan Type -1 Engine. It holds 500 Gals of Water, 25 Gals of Fireade Foam, 1500 GPM Hale Pump and has a full complement of hose and equipment to handle a variety of calls such as EMS, Fires and Rescues. This unit can seat six personnel. Engine 11-1 was placed in service February 2012.
Engine 11-2 is our Reserve apparatus and is currently set up to handle any emergency responses within and out of the Fire District. This is the primary unit to respond Automatic or Mutual Aid in and out of San Joaquin County. Engine 11-2 is a 1995 Spartan/Hi-Tech build up with 800 Gals of water and 20 gals of foam. It is equipped with a Hale 1500 GPM pump and has pump and roll capabilities with a Hale CBPK PTO driven pump. Its equipment compliment is similar to E11-1. This unit was placed in service March 2013 and was acquired through San Ramon Valley Fire District.
Rescue 11-1 is a 2007 Ford F-650/SVI light rescue unit. It carries a full compliment of EMS, Extrications and Technical Rescue equipment. This unit is also equipped with a Light Tower Unit, Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) with 300 Gals of water, 50 gals of foam.
Brush 11 is our newest addition to our fleet. This is a Type 6 wild land fire apparatus that holds 300 Gal. of water, 20 Gal. of foam, and it is equipped with a PTO driven 300 GPM pump. Brush 11 is equipped with hand tools, hose packs, a land based portable pump, and a floto pump. This apparatus has been placed into the ROSS system and can be called upon for strike team assignments. Minimum staffing is two personnel for at least a 7 day assignment.
Command 11-1 is a 2010 Ford F-150 Extended Cab pickup that is used by the Chief Officers to respond to the scene for Command Post functions. It is equipped with Medical Equipment and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and some tools.
Utility 11-1 is a 1998 Chevy Van that was allocated from Ripon Consolidated Fire District. This unit is used for day to day errands and is equipped to handle EMS calls and Fireground support activities.
